Shelly Klein's beautiful home.

I don't think I've ever fallen so hard for someone's home before. And I would kill for her nightstand.

All hail Design*Sponge for giving us sneak peeks into designer's homes.

Just when I finally swear off IKEA

...they come up with something like this set of two mugs, spoons and coasters for $8. Argh.

Wonderful Graffiti "Blank Canvas" collection.

Far too expensive, but fun and lovely. And easy enough to make...

Blank Canvas™ is a collection of original typography art printed on artists' canvas and mounted on hardwood stretchers.

Bad news/good news for Milwaukee radio.

Bad news:
We don't have a jazz radio station in Milwaukee anymore. That sucks.

Good news:
As of 7AM Monday, we'll have what appears to be a true "alternative" radio station. Based on the teasers they're running this weekend, the music is like the iPod of someone with great, eclectic taste in music. I'm excited!

Medieval tech support.

It seems like a tired concept, but it's performed so earnestly, it's hilarious. It's like a PSA for tech support folks.

A comedy about medieval tech support, learning how to use a book. It's from a show called Øystein & Meg (Øystein & I) produced by the Norwegian Broadcasting television channel (NRK) in 2001. The spoken language is Norwegian, the subs in Danish. It's written by Knut Nærum and performed by Øystein Bache and Rune Gokstad.

Cute Overload hits it outta the ballpark today.

Not that I'm telling you what to do - just consider it friendly advice: Sign up for the CO newsletter. It's the first thing I open in the morning - it's like a morning tonic. I mean, c'mon, just LOOK at this stuff...

A little poem for Thursday.

RAIN

when nothing else is going on
rain is a big event but when some event
is happening
rain becomes background
some remember it, some don’t
years later, when everything’s in the past
the rain comes back to us once more
pattering as it falls
nothing happening

Cat Fight.

A little email love from the swissmiss this morning. Thank you, girl. It was my first Thursday laugh. :)

(I really want my cats, Oskar and Eva, to re-enact that bottom one. It already looks like them.)

A beautiful site by Wil Freeborn, who is a guest illustrator on Coudal.com this month. I fell in love with this pic.

Designboom's "radical radiators of the future"

Damn. Even if my radiators were in tip-top shape, I'd still want one. As it is, I'm a puddle thinking about these.

SocialSuicide Global :: Pearly Queen

What a horrible ad.

It succeeds in grabbing attention, of course, but what self-respecting woman would want to buy D&G garb after seeing this? Ick.
