Cuckoo clock.

Retro tick-tock chirps modern in asymmetrical white wood composite under hi-gloss burnt orange roof. Aluminum hands countdown every 15 to little white birdie tweeting on the hour from circular cutout. Fully finished in back to float on consoles and open shelves.

Alarm Dock.

Such a clever design.

Remember those faux wood grain GE flip clocks that sat on every bedside table? These humble clocks were made obsolete by fancy LED clocks and more recently by cell phones. Jonas Damon’s Alarm Dock allows your iPhone to read as an “alarm clock”, with an opening at back for routing your power supply. Augmented by a flip clock app, this dock returns meaningful form to the sliver of a device that will wake you up. [Phone in photo not included]

A knitting clock.

Marking the passage of time with a clock that knits a scarf?? Oh, Design Milk, you minx. You just made my day.

MUJI Station Clock

Oh, Muji, you minx. I wish I knew how to quit you. Every time you start to bore me silly, you turn around and come up with something perfect and simple like this.

Inspired by the design of traditional railway station clocks in Japan, the familiar face makes it easy to read.

Canvasworks clock.

Love this concept.

Form meets function in this canvas scene clock by Noto-Fusai.

A functioning clock is embedded in scenes from real life, either as a clock in a park or in a street scene, providing a new, more decorative way to tell time.

Printed on actual canvas.

Cyclops watch.

I don't wear a watch, but, if I did, it'd be a Mr Jones watch. This is a new one.

Black & White Clock.

Only a prototype. Sigh.

Digital clock: only figures, no case, only the necessary – only accurate time. Each figure has self-contained power supply and independent control, it can be fixed to any surface autonomously. A light sensor will switch the clock to an invert mode: the figures are white in the dark time of day and black at daytime.

Diamantini & Domeniconi Striped Cuckoo Clock.

I would like one of these. So birdy and stripey and happy.

Designed in Italy from the famous clock manufacturers Diamantini and Domeniconi this is their latest design Cuckoo Clock. The Cuckoo Clock is hand made using coloured resin in fabulous stripes. It reminds me of the Paul Smith stripe design.

Water-Powered Clock.

Aww. Cute.

How does it work? Magic mostly. And a little bit of science too. The internal converter simply extracts electrons from water (or other liquid) molecules and provides a steady stream of electrical current acting as a fuel cell to generate power to the clock.

A fully-functional canvas Grandfather Clock. Sweet.
(I wonder if it chimes the hours?)
