Ryanair boss plans £7 tickets [from Europe] to America
Michael O'Leary, the chief executive of Ryanair, said yesterday he was planning to bring his no-frills approach to transatlantic flights, offering one-way tickets from less than £7.

As someone who has flown RyanAir, I can assure you that they'll make up for the low ticket prices by charging people $800 for carrying more than, say, one pound of luggage.
My flight from London to Cork wound up being not much of a bargain after they charged me $100 for my "overweight luggage" which consisted of one bag with, like, two pairs of jeans and a book in it.
Plus the free-for-all that ensues when boarding is announced and people starting running like hell to get the best seats... well, it makes paying full fare on any other airline look like a bargain.
I guess the old saying is right -- if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Wow. What a miserable experience. You poor thing!
