Bring your toothbrush to London Zoo on July 23 and get price entry. Everyone knows how important it is to brush your teeth and London Zoo s pygmy hippos are no exception! A dental check and thorough tooth brushing is part of the hippos daily routine - and this summer keepers have bought them brand new toothbrushes. As you can imagine the toothbrushes have to be very large and zoo keepers have even colour coded them so they don t get mixed up! Pastel pink for Nicky, the female pygmy hippo, and of course, blue for the male.
