I love this photo. Popov vodka at $1.26 a half pint in 1968? It's now less than three bucks a half. Lighter fluid. Shit poured in a seabreeze when you don't call for a decent brand at the Red Room. Somewhere in my attic, I have a photo of myself behind a similar counter in 1977. Popov sold at $1.29, I bet, and there's a sign: Cigarettes 55 cents. What does that tell you? Buy a liter of Popov for under ten bucks, stick it in the freezer and serve it to Steve-o when he gets out. Double decker bus or pontoon boat. Par-tay! Mano cornuta!
