Fab mid-century chair.

Lushpad has great new and used designer furniture. This one happens to be new. Oh, to be able to afford $1100 for a chair. Sigh.

They do make them like they used to! A stylish accent chair with retro styling, on top of a gorgeous tripod base. Eco-friendly foam & construction, down wrapped cushions, kiln-dried solid wood frame.

Choose from hundreds of vintage inspired fabrics & leathers and options to make it perfect for your mid-century home.

Lovely letterpress books.

I particularly like this:

And this:

For two years I traveled the road between Starkville, Mississippi and Tuscaloosa, Alabama while I attended graduate school. This book is a collection of visual and textual vignettes in reflection of that trip; little pieces of the scenery and of my thoughts during that drive.

The paper is 100% cotton rag, handmade from my family's clothes. The six large illustrations are linoleum reduction prints, the other illustrations are line art drawings printed from photopolymer plates. The type is handset in multiple sizes of Lutetia metal types, cast by Harold Berliner. The book is bound in a built-in groove case in a dos-a-dos style binding. 4' x 6', 56 pages with two illustrated fold-outs.

Shaun the Sheep wall sticker.

Hell's bells. I think I need this Aardman vinyl wall graphic.

The high-quality sticker with four strong sheep and Shaun on top is [...] easily stickable and detachable. You can correct its fitting while sticking. Just stick it on top of a stack of magazines and the stack effect will be boosted.

FIELD NOTES Calendar.

Excellent old schooliness. Available for pre-order now.

This baby is a limited edition of 1000 and runs from October 2008 through March 2010 (Is it 2010 already?). The sturdy chipboard backing is 5.5" x 8.5", with stapled-tear-off months. If you’re going to stare at a calendar for eighteen months, it oughta be this one.

"Phelan Building" stenciled spray paint art.

At 48" x 60" this must be really beautiful in person.

I will do one thing today.

Fuck this multitasking business. I need to focus more. Right after I finish blogging this.

This Table Will Self-Destruct from Studio 1a.m.

This table will self-destruct. The top of the table is structured as a grid of concrete pixels. Each time a new table is produced, one pixel is removed from the design. Following these rules of self-destruction, the shape becomes more intricate as it diminishes. This project converges elements of mass production and handmade craftsmanship, resulting in a limited series of entirely unique tables that will end when the shape is no longer practical.

Total pixels currently removed: 25

Cat print.

Simple and lovely. (Bit too expensive for this type of unframed print, though, I think.)
