Baja BBQ Firepack.

For some reason, I'm kind of fascinated by this.

the baja bbq firepack is charcoal packaging that lights instantly and burns away in the grille, making the barbeque experience simple, clean and chemical free.

made from 100% recycled biodegradable paper pulp, the package contains 2 lbs of natural lump charcoal and features an integrated chimney that creates perfect hot coals without the aid of chemicals or lighter fluid.

Grown in transit.

Design Academy Eindhoven graduate Agata Jaworska's project Made in Transit, aims to eliminate the wasted time and trapped inventory in many supply chains by actually growing produce en route to the store. Jaworska's concept aims to move from best before, preservative packaging to ready by, cultivational packaging which consumers would open when the product was ready for consumption. Jaworska's first example would grow mushrooms on the way to the supermarket.

recyclable packaging is happy packaging.

So cute.

Due to the popularity of my recyclable packaging is happy packaging characters, I have decided to draw up a series of limited edition original artworks. Though just how many I decide to draw will depend largely on the interest I receive. Each illustration will feature different little characters unique to that piece.

To keep with the theme, all of the pieces will be drawn on recycled envelopes.

Traidcraft packaging.

It would make me smile to see these on store shelves.

Traidcraft's packaging really says what it stands for - they aid the poor through improving trade practices, including fair trade. The packaging was designed by Susie from Studio Blackburn, with witty copywriting by Nick Rootes.

An excellent find by ReubenMiller.

Excellent product name.

MOMSPIT.

Momspit (inspired by the original) is the universal no-rinse cleanser. It’s not a sanitizer and does not contain any alcohol. In fact, it’s gentle enough to use on your face. Momspit foams for easy application, eliminates dirt and grime, and leaves skin moisturized and yummy smelling.

Hobo Soup.

Oh, the life of a hobo! Hopping trains, stealing pies and making delicious soup. This can of Hobo Soup has a label so beautiful that it will make you want to keep the can as a collectible rather than eat the contents. If you do eat it, you'll get 15 ounces of hardy bean soup with 100% of your daily allowance of sodium. As the label says, "A jungle recipe fit for a king!" This product contains milk and soy. Despite the name, it does NOT contain any actual hobo.

I would totally buy this concealer.

I saw a lot of this type of packaging copy in South Korea as well. I always find it charming, even when it makes no sense.

Sweet packaging.

Tala's new kitchenware packaging is based on its original packaging from the 1950s. (Or maybe they just never changed it. I can't find a web site for them, so it's not out of the question...)
