"Rudolph" Windows ads.
The dialogue and copy could be a bit more clever, but kudos to Windows for the art direction on their Rudolph ads.

A Creative Catharsis.
Ireland's creative community have gotten together to release a lot of pent-up anger and sadness through the medium of the A3 poster, all in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital.
Ad creatives, designers, animators, directors, illustrators and more have taken time out to dress up their favourite worst feedback from clients, transforming quotes that would normally give you a twitch, into a diverse collection of posters.

Jack Spade Holiday Gift Guide "infographics."
Considering the barrage of gift guides that I'm getting, I have to credit Jack Spade for including something that made me laugh.

80 Penguins.
I think this might be my favorite ad campaign ever.

Why Belgian advertising is offline this week.
I'm linking to this in support of the Belgian agencies that are trying to end the free-for-all madness involved in pitching work these days. If you work in design or advertising, you know how painful and expensive a big pitch can be. You should take a look at this and think about re-blogging it yourself.

Google Android logo.
I know absolutely nothing about Google's Android mobile platform, but I *love*love*love* their logo.

(From a brand standpoint, doesn't it seems a little strange they didn't subtly work their Google "g" in there somewhere?)

Sony Soundville.
Not sure it sells me on Sony speakers, but the camera work is gorgeous.
New Sony Soundville campaign by “Cadbury Gorilla” creator Juan Cabral.
In March 2009 a small town in Iceland was filled with speakers and music from the likes of Death In Vegas, Bob Dylan and the Guillemots. The Seydisfjordur village was turned into an extraordinary sound-system for a week.
The objective of the brand is inviting people to believe in experience superior sound and promote the latest audio technologies from Sony, offering an experience never before experienced.

All this could be yours
...for a mere $869,000 (AUD). Possibly the strangest home decor I've ever seen. It's like the owners just stepped above ground from their bomb shelter. I'm simply awestruck.

Vintage Smokey Bear commercial.
It's a shame there are no sweet, simple commercials like this first one anymore. It'd be a nice break from the norm now.

Fun product promo/contest.
This is a really easy, fun promo. Write a little saying, submit it and, if enough people like it, maybe it will show up on a billboard in NY's Meatpacking District.

Fatherhood Involvement campaign.
I'm SUCH a fan of the Ad Council Creative: Great Ads. Good Causes. newsletter. Seeing ads that aren't just about selling something is a breath of fresh air.
The "Cheerleader" ad made me grin this morning.
A majority of Americans have identified the absence of the father from the home as the most significant family or social problem facing America. In a lighthearted manner, this campaign demonstrates the critical role fathers play in their children's lives, and provides information on becoming a better dad.
