Vintage Red Glass Telephone Sign.

Pretty.

We miss telephone booths, but we're still head over heels nostalgic for them. These old telephone booth signs have stood up well from serving the public for oh so many years and still looks great. We can only imagine what stories this sign could tell.

Double-Sided Fractions Signs.

I would LOVE an entire wall of these signs.

Vintage double-sided metal price fraction signs. We love the odd use of fractions and bold white-on-black graphics. These slightly smaller-scale signs are in moderately worn vintage condition and measure 6" x 8".

Kitty caution sign.

It makes me laugh.

(Unfortunately, the PETA site doesn't seem to have it - maybe they're just out right now.)

Smart guerrilla advertising.

Entrepreneurs armed with little more than a URL and a pair of gloves are taking advantage of what would otherwise be an expensive media purchase. Chancers like playstickball.com are etching their messages into the disgusting layer of soot/scum/pollution that forms on the delivery vehicles that service our urban areas and thereby occupying some premium advertising real-estate. Who knows whether it's legal or not, but it's certainly an effective way of putting your product or service in front of millions of people without blowing your marketing budget!

Neon Graveyard.

There is an awesome museum in Vegas that collects all the old neon signs that have been decommissioned.

Understanding signs.

Information geekery, baby. This was an interesting survey to take, and it's even more interesting to view the results.

Why don't we have one of these?

Not to be ungrateful for the free coffee in our office. Or the cookies. Or the office supplies. But, man -- I'd really like a Free Cheese button.

Fun signs from Readymade.

These have been around for awhile, but they always make me smile when I see 'em.
