The Chickadee by Brevard Tiny Homes.

I've always had a secret, wild desire to own a tiny home, but this has sent that desire into overdrive. A proper kitchen with full-size appliances! Coo. I just can't stop looking at it.

This was me all weekend. Duck = Chickadee

Man candles.

I love this guy's initiative, and the fact that he has scents like Dirt, New Mitt and Campfire.

Almost every can has been purchased and the soup donated to a soup kitchen, hospital, church or other non-profit organization. A few empty cans have been donated to me. At this point over 3000 cans of soup have been donated.

Once the can is emptied, it's cleaned and the label is removed. That's about it, other than the making the candle piece.

We are trying to work with a few organizations to get recycled cans. Once we receive these cans we will be donating a portion of every candle sold to a local soup kitchen.

Coatrack Dots.

So cute. (And, like almost everything at Design Within Reach, far too expensive.)

Above: The Coatrack Dots by Tveit & Tornøe for Nordic design studio Muuto are meant to be part wall sculpture, part storage. A Coatrack Dots set contains one large, one medium, and three small hooks; the hooks are available in natural oak, black-stained ash, and yellow-stained ash; $179 at Design Within Reach.

Fireplace Screens.

If you're gonna have a fire, why not make a statement? (Does it come with a tiny little recording of fleeing, screaming peoples?)

Permafrost - silence

Sadly, this doesn't actually seem to be for sale. But it's lovely.

The Silence rug is at first glance an impression of glistening white snow; a common sight in freezing Norway. Then you discover the tracks left by a passing hare; itself dressed in bright, shimmering winter fur.

Golems.

I wish these were actually for sale. I'd love to buy them as housewarming gifts.

An old Jewish folklore legend, tells about a creature made of mud called a Golem. The creature became animated by religious words to serve as a protector of its community, but it was considered dangerous to make it due to the imperfections of the material.

Our Golems are made entirely out of different soils from our surrounding. They are as recyclable as it can get as an answer to the increased production of plastic toys. After their production, these imperfect creations are planted in our favorite places, to protect the ones we love.

Sproost Style Quiz.

Wow. I took this thinking that I'd fall pretty far into a Contemporary or Modern category. I was 100% Vintage Modern. The second time I took it I fell into 86% Vintage Modern, 14% Modern Elegance. It makes total sense. I definitely learned something from it. Really interesting.

Vintage Modern

Flea Market, anyone? You know you are drawn to modern furniture and interiors, and yet you don't like a space that feels cold and sterile. And who could blame you? That's why Vintage Modern is so appealing to you. Though the backdrop of the room, the walls and windows, are many times white or monochromatic, the furniture and accessories have the color, shape and texture to bring the warmth into the space.

The great thing about Vintage Modern is ease of mixing different styles in the one space. You can have a new modular sofa mixed with a great pair of chairs that your grandmother purchased in the late 1950's. The new and old work appear as though they were destined for each other. Even if you don't have time for swap meets and garage sales, so many of the mid-century pieces were so great that they have been remade and mimicked year after year.

AIRPOD air purifier.

If you've ever shopped for an air purifier, you'll know EXACTLY how hideous they can be. The nicer designs cost a forture. This one is pretty sweet, compact and not horrifically expensive.

Telescoping room divider.

I lack the decorating chops to figure out where I could use these in my apartment, but I would love to. They're gorgeous.

My new radiator.

Courtesy of a gift certificate from my company (for my 11-year anniversary -- eek!), I just bought this rather lovely space heater. I live in a nice old apartment building, and the radiator heat is kind of spotty. Finding something that got good reviews and isn't a typical nasty design is a godsend. Thank you, HD!

I'll let you know how it works...
