Thanks to Nick Lu, an illustrator in Los Angeles, for giving me the heads up on his new print shop. It's chock full of lovely, fun, illustrated comparisons of motifs – LA vs Paris style.

All the art works are from book Why LA? Pourquoi Paris? authored by Diane Ratican. For the first time, the cities of Los Angeles and Paris are illustrated in parallel by famed artists Eric Giriat and Nick Lu. "Why LA? Pourquoi Paris?" represents a visionary approach to a comparative study of two major, contemporary metropolises.
