Van Gogh's Bedroom - Available on Airbnb (Soon)

Created in conjunction with The Art Institute's new Van Gogh exhibit. I want to go to there.

From Airbnb:
This room will make you feel like you're living in a painting. It's decorated in a Post-Impressionist style, reminiscent of Southern France and times gone by. Its furniture, bright colors, and artwork will give you the experience of a lifetime.

Longman & Eagle.

I'm so excited that I'm going to have a birthday dinner and stay at Chicago's Longman & Eagle in December.

Reader peeps - has anyone been? What's the verdict? As good as it looks?

Moon Chart Print.

This moon chart is a striking image. Chart is linen backed with nice deep blacks against a silvery moon. Two color chart has simple and effective palette that adds a great deal of depth to the piece. Piece is signed on lower right in pencil by the artist.

Piece measures: 28” x 29”

You cant find these anywhere else, they’re hand made by Agent Gallery Chicago exclusively. Limited edition run.

Thumbs up for Hotel Blake.

The boy and I stayed at this lovely modern boutique hotel in Chicago last weekend. HUGE room, big bathroom, tall ceilings, nice view, comfy bed... We even managed to park on the street for free Saturday night, saving $40 on hotel parking. Oh, and there's a fantastic bookstore about two blocks away - perfect for nerds like us. The reviews on Trip Advisor were a bit scary and mixed, but I'd definitely recommend it if you like boutique hotels.

Yay! Herwig's on Swap Meat!

Our buddy Herwig's silkscreen poster is featured on Coudal Partners' Swap Meat site today.

When Dan Herwig's mom was diagnosed with Leukemia last year, he joined Team In Training and ran the Chicago Marathon to raise money for research. Hand-pulling this print as a bonus for donors, Dan raised over $2000, and his mother's Leukemia is in remission. Proof, once again, that screenprinting is good medicine.
